Roast Plum Sorbet

We have so many trees full of plums I decided to make Roasted Plum Sorbet today, but without an ice-cream maker had to stir it every hour in the freezer. Will try it tomorrow when it is forecasted to be 43 degrees here!! Recipe is from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s book River Cottage everyday that I use all the time.

  1. Looks yummy! There’s nothing like fruit straight off the tree. When we were in Upper Ferntree Gully the resident possum ate all the plums when they were green, so I’m jealous of your impressive crop!
